ah, it's kind of disappointing, but it seems the typhoon has backed off. Now they're just calling for thunderstorms, which it seems we have everyday. Maybe it's just this Yahoo weather site though, I'll have to try to decipher one of the local tv news channels... (ie: wait until they have the weather map displayed, with TYPHOON WARNING in english)

And this acting thing. I had to go to a fitting last night, and the shoot is on Thursday. I still don't know what the commercial is for, but apparently yes it is a wedding, and I am the crappin groom. (that is if I still have the job. I was anxious to leave, and I left without signing anything, maybe they've recognized me for the non-talent sketch case I really am.) The rest of the cast are ex-pats, older for the most part, who seem to do this often, except for 'my wife' who is some east-european model type (there are quite a few between here and hong kong) which for some reason leaves me with some combination of an inferiority complex and feeling down that i would even take any of this that seriously. what BS!

Must remember, the plan is to take the money and run.

whoops, spoke too soon about the typhoon not coming. Apparently it is coming, and its going to be one big mother. people are now saying it will probably begin to hit this evening, with the major crap tomorrow. i've stalked up on food, though I could probably do with a bit more water. I find this quite exciting.
